The 40 mm year (exhibition)
This series was shot during one year with one camera and one objective as an exercise in photographic visualization. (Voigtländer Bessa R3A / Voigtländer Nokton 40mm f/1.4, september 2010 to september 2011). The series is identified by the completely neutral perspective of the 40mm focal length. The series aims to present small revelations in everyday life as they are revealed by the photographic process.
All images in the exhibition were shot on Fomapan b/w films and developed in R09 Rodinal by the photographer.
The 40 mm year exhibition is at Jakob M, Hans Broges Gade 12, 8000 Aarhus C, Denmark. The Exhibition opened on Saturday November 5th at 1300 hours and runs until November 18th. Forlaget Saxo published the book "The 40mm Year" on November 5th.
